Do summer weekends on the York County coast fill up early?
The southern Maine coast from York to Kennebunk sees its peak from late June through Labor Day. Weddings, cookouts and rental-home projects pile onto the same 10 to 12 summer weekends. Book 3 to 4 weeks ahead, and earlier for restroom trailers.
Coastal wind is common on open lots. We stake or strap units on exposed sites.
Are Maine roads posted for heavy trucks in spring?
MaineDOT and many York County towns post roads with weight limits during the spring thaw, usually March into April. Inland towns like Acton, Shapleigh and Lebanon have many posted gravel roads. A posted road can delay service, so pick a spot close to a paved main road.
Your town public works office can tell you which local roads are posted.

York County porta potty questions
Do you serve all of York County, Maine?
We cover the southern half of York County, roughly up to Kennebunk, Sanford and Acton. Towns farther north fall outside our 80-mile radius from Manchester. Call with your address and we will confirm.
Do you need a Maine permit to place a porta potty in York County?
York County itself does not issue porta potty permits. A unit on private land usually needs nothing. For a street, sidewalk or town beach lot, check with that town's public works or code office first.
Can you place units at a rented beach house in York or Wells?
We can, as long as the truck can park within about 15 feet of a level, firm spot. Driveways in beach neighborhoods are often tight, so measure the gate or gap. A standard unit needs about 48 inches to roll through.
How long can I keep an event unit in Kittery or York?
Event units are a flat rental for up to 7 days. Longer stays switch to jobsite billing on a 28-day cycle with weekly service. Price depends on unit, dates, servicing, quantity and distance, plus Maine sales tax.
