How long does delivery to Windham County take?
Windham County towns are about 70 to 90 miles from Manchester, reached by Route 101 and Route 9 through Keene, then I-91 or Route 5. Most orders are set for the next morning or a scheduled day. Same-day delivery needs an early-morning call and an open truck.
The driver calls about 30 minutes before arrival. Delivery windows are morning or afternoon.
Are Windham County roads posted during mud season?
Vermont towns post many gravel roads during mud season, usually March into May, which runs longer than in southern New Hampshire. Weight limits keep heavy trucks off soft roads until they dry out. Hill towns like Marlboro, Halifax, Newfane and Athens are the most likely to need early or delayed delivery.
Give the road name when you book. In Brattleboro, the Highway Division posts the current list.
Who approves a porta potty on a public street in Windham County?
Vermont counties have no general county government, so each Windham County town sets its own rules for streets, sidewalks and parks. In Brattleboro, check with the Department of Public Works before placing 1 or more units on public property. Smaller towns usually route questions through the town office or road crew.
Units on private land rarely need a permit. Ask about park rules too for town events.
